we had a great time playing at latitude (thanks huw) last weekend.
highlight: drinking too much too quickly on Saturday and getting the happiest drunk buzz
highlight: watching spiritualized with that drunk buzz coming up
highlight: having a good old dance with vinyl vendettas and kruger/cardiff posse
highlight: hanging out under a tree at night filled with lots of little notes on white paper and lights
lowlight: when that much wine and whisky actually fully kicks in and you can't walk properly anymore
lowlight: hangover
highlight: tricky coming on to phil collins
lowlight: tricky's actual set
highlight: tricky doing vent
lowlight: tricky doing vent for like the 8th time
highlight: some beautiful little films unsurprisingly in the film tent
highlight: artist catering - my dear lord that's good food
highlight: tricky coming into the artist catering, asking everyone if they wanted some cock, calling everyone wankers and then running off to play football in the artist bar.
highlight: nick cave and the bad seeds
highlight: warren ellis' backwards rolls and general onstage antics
lowlight: no 24 hour petrol stations in southwold - dunno if we'll make it to ipswich!
highlight: emerging all confused like a newborn on the M25 surrounded by 100s of slow moving lorries
lowlight: M25 road widening - all makes sense now and we're gonna be stuck here a while
highlight: sunrise on pont hafren/severn bridge
lowlight: back at 5am and have to go to work in a few hours
next up - truck festival (along with them squirrels and sweet baboo)
